In response to popular demand, three schools who have implemented the Berry Street Education Model, are opening their doors to educators, school leaders and interested members of the profession.
Doonside Technology High School - Western Sydney.
(15-39 Power Street, Doonside)
Detentions, suspensions and truancy are down more than 60% since BSEM was implemented in 2016.
Northern Bay College (Peacock Campus) - a prep to year 8 school in the Northern Suburbs of Geelong, VIC.
(31-35 Peacock Avenue, Norlane)
The school completed the BSEM program in 2018.
Doveton College - a prep to year 9 school in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs.
(62 Tristania Street, Doveton)
Since implementing BSEM in 2015-2016, Doveton has seen a 30% decrease in days of suspension.
During the inaugural BSEM Open Day:
- You will observe a variety of BSEM strategies in action, with real students, in real classrooms.
- You will see first-hand our strategies for self-regulation, building wellbeing and increasing academic outcomes.
- You will be able to ask questions of school leaders, classroom teachers and BSEM trainers and discuss how best to implement the model at your school.
This is an invaluable opportunity to see how effectively the Berry Street Education Model can impact real change within the classroom.
There is no charge for this event, however, registration is essential as places are strictly limited.
